You can enter your activity details either manually, or import activities from Apple Health or Google Fit.

To enter activities manually, please click the “+” button on the top right corner and then click on “New Activity” button. You will then be able to enter details of type of activity, its duration and intensity. You can also add notes and upload pictures along with each activity update.

In order to import activities from Apple Health or Google Fit manually, please integrate these apps with Weo from Settings. You can access Settings from User section.

Integration of Apple Health or Google Fit with Weo is a one-time task. It will help you import activities into Weo from these apps. You will also be able to import activities from devices and apps connected to Apple Health and Google Fit.

Apple Health
Please go to Settings from the User Profile section. Within Settings you will see an option for Data Integration. Once you click on Data Integration you will have the option to connect Weo with Apple Health.

Google Fit
Please go to Settings from the User Profile section. Within Settings you will see an option for Data Integration. Once you click on Data Integration you will have the option to connect Weo with Google Fit.

It is very easy and quick to integrate your fitness app with Weo. Just integrate your fitness app with Apple Health or Google Fit and your app is then connected with Weo. Just make sure that Apple Health or Google Fit is connected with Weo.

Follow the steps in the ‘How do I integrate Apple Health and Google Fit with Weo?’ section for this.
Once your fitness app is connected with Weo, your activity data from the fitness app can be easily pulled into Weo.

If you choose to share activities with your friends on the feed, then everyone with whom you are connected on Weo can see your activities.

However, if you choose not to share the activities on the feed, only you will be able to see the activities and your friends will not be able to see your activities.

Your friends are not able to view your activity when you don’t share it on the feed.

During the Beta phase we have limited the list of activities to common activities such as walking, running, workout, yoga, sports, etc. Based on the user feedback, we will add more activities to the list.

Please check in Settings à Data Integration that you have switched on the data integration between Weo and Apple Health or Google Fit. If that is switched on and you are still unable to import activities from Apple Health or Google Fit, it is possible that integration of Apple Health or Google Fit with Weo has been switched off from the Settings of your phone device. You will have to go to Settings and check if you have given permission to Apple Health or Google Fit to export data to Weo.

In the Beta phase, you can set one of the following three goals on Weo:

  1. Losing weight
  2. Reducing waistline
  3. Exercising regularly

To set a goal, you can click on your goal card under “Your Goals“ in the Goals section. You can then choose from the three goals and then set your target goal and choose a goal duration from 2 to 6 weeks. You can also add a description to your goal and share your goal with your circle of friends to support and encourage you.

Your friends too can share their goals with you. Their goals appear under the “Friends’ Goals“ section.

The friends with whom you share your goal can see the goal name, number of days left for the goal, any description you add while creating the goal.

Additionally they can see the friends with whom you have shared this goal as well as the comments and replies in  the goal detail view.

They can also view your goal progress. However, they cannot see the actual value of your goal parameters like weight or waistline but only relative values. For example if your goal is to lose weight, say 2 kg, then your friends will only see your weight loss target of 2 kg and the trends of weight lost during the goal duration. But they will never see your actual weight at any point in time.

To unshare your goal with someone you already shared it with OR to share it with more friends, you can click on the thumbnails of your friends’ profile pictures in place in the goal detail view. On clicking the thumbnails, you will see a list of people with whom you have shared your goal, as well as people you can further add to the goal. You can select/deselect people in this list to share/unshare your goal with them and save changes by clicking on the button at the bottom of the screen.

Research shows that regularly measuring your progress as you work towards your goal makes you more aware and focused and increases your chances of achieving your goal. Measuring your goal progress 2-3 times a week and updating it in Weo is a great way to keep yourself focused and on track.

Updating goal progress is very easy on Weo. When you click the “+” sign on the top right corner of the app, you will find three options. You can update your goal progress by selecting “Goal Progress” from one of these three options.

When you click on “Goal Progress”, you will be asked to enter the current value of your goal parameter (such as weight or waistline) and add notes relevant to the goal progress. These notes are like your personal diary or a journal of your progress towards your goal. You can note factors that are helping you or hindering you in the achievement of your goal.

Note: For your “Exercise regularly“ goal, the progress of your goal is measured by the frequency of your activity. It is automatically updated when you log activity in Weo and an additional update of goal progress is not required.

The state of Weomi is determined by two things;

  1. The frequency with which you log activity in Weo
  2. The frequency of update of the progress against your goal

You can keep your goal’s Weomi blooming by regularly updating progress and by regularly logging activity in Weo.

You can make Weomi bloom by logging regular activity in Weo and by updating the progress of your goal regularly.

When you end a goal, you are no longer able to update the progress against the goal. Also, the friends with whom you have shared the goal are unable to view the goal after you have ended the goal. You will also not be able to add or receive any more comments and messages under the goal.

You can view your past goals by scrolling horizontally in the bar which has your active goal. The details added to the goal when it was active can always be viewed even after your goal ends. These details include your goal progress details, comments and replies etc. on your goal during its active state.

During the Beta phase you can set one of the three goals available on Weo:

Lose Weight, Exercise regularly and Lose waistline

Post Beta phase, you will be able to set more goals such as managing blood pressure, managing blood sugar, running faster and longer, etc.

When someone has not been active on Weo for sometime, we send her friends a prompt to send her a boost of energy and help her bounce back into action. Because research shows that a nudge coming from a friend is more powerful in boost someone into action than just a reminder from the app.

But you needn’t wait for a prompt to boost your friend. You can boost your friend any time and remind her that you care for her well-being using the Boost button on your friend’s profile in the Friends section.
